Accountant with German & English

Our client, a global company in the manufacturing/plastic sector, that designs and manufactures safety products, is looking for a new Accountant in German and English to join their team in Barcelona.

• Supervise the invoicing processes and collaborate effectively with suppliers
• Oversee the aging of accounts receivable and handle collection claims
• Responsible for managing and reviewing expense reports, overseeing petty cash, performing clerical tasks, and handling specific client communications
• Perform accounting entries, including bank cheque issuance and bank reconciliations
• Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager for specific regions
• Management of KPI analysis and reporting

• German Native or bilingual and full professional-level of English
• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience with SAP and familiarity with German GAAP is essential
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting procedures
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines
