Senior Cloud System Engineer
Our platform is the cornerstone of Pix4D’s web strategy and is heavily used by internal and external customers. For these customers reliability, security and performance must meet high standards. To achieve these standards, our agile team embraces pragmatic engineering practices such as code reviews, pair programming and continuous deployment as part of the culture and our daily work.
Moreover, you will be collaborating with colleagues in different locations within Pix4D’s multicultural and multilingual environment.You will play a central role in the architecture, development, delivery and scaling of our services. Your contribution with other software engineers will help the team increase the resiliency and capacity of our services on the platform.
You will face challenges regarding a live system handling very large datasets, lots of processing capacity in the petabyte scale.As a Cloud engineer you strive to perform operations in an invisible way for your customers, turn production incidents into learning and automation, while ensuring the security of the platform remains or improves.
You are passionate about the scale of the infrastructure you are managing and the resiliency of the distributed systems in it. You enjoy sharing good practices via reviews and learning from others.
