Position Overview: The Functional Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing the data management processes, ensuring data integrity, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles, business processes, and the ability to lead a team of data professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of data analysts and data scientists.
- Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data models, reports, and dashboards to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve business processes and performance.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management and business intelligence.
