At this moment, we are looking to fill the position of Interior Designer in our Barcelona office, who will work together with the different teams to develop interior design projects from concept through execution. From mood boards and layouts to material specifications and details, our new Interior Designer will develop strong conceptual narratives and ideas, both big picture and in the details.The ideal candidate will be a versatile profile, with strong background in Interior Design, but also being able to join other teams in architecture production if needed.
Qualifications:
- Professional qualification as an Architect.
- 5+ years of post-graduate experience with a special focus on Interiors.
- Hospitality and residential project experience; commercial, educational, and cultural experience is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in materials, millwork design, furniture, FF&E and OS&E specifications.
- Strong V-Ray, Rhino, and Adobe Suite skills (Revit is a plus).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and self-manage time.
- Experience with built and published projects.
- Knowledge of industry practices, local codes, and construction details.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Creating interior design concepts and strategies.
- Engaging with clients and presenting design direction.
- Working closely with design teams, Project Managers, and Partners.
- Taking initiative and developing design options in response to direction from Leadership.
- Preparing and editing drawings as they relate to projects.
- Coordinating with external stakeholders and/or clients.
