In this position, you will play a critical role in connecting our diverse student body with exceptional career opportunities in the Consulting sector. You will be responsible for both building strong relationships with leading organizations and enterprises and helping these students prepare to excel in their recruiting processes.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid.

Responsibilities:

Your role as Senior Associate Director will involve:

  • Employer Relations & Business Development:
  • Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to attract top-tier consulting firms to IE University.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of employer partners through regular engagement and relationship-building.
  • Leverage alumni networks and faculty expertise to cultivate connections with leading consulting firms.
  • Represent IE University nationally and internationally at industry events and conferences (15% to 20% travel required).
  • Partner with the marketing team to create compelling communication and marketing plans for recruiting events.
  • Develop increasing levels of knowledge about consulting industry trends, corporate strategy and recruitment expectations of core clients by conducting ongoing research and engagement with the company representatives and alumni to ensure students have current information about specific job markets.
  • Student Career Preparation:
  • Coordinate sector-specific training and events, including case interview workshops, mock interviews, and information sessions tailored for consulting careers for MBA students interested in consulting careers.
  • Collaborate with Consulting Club to organize networking events with professionals.
  • Offer personalized career coaching and case interview preparation, particularly for MBA students.
  • Develop and promote career resources and educational materials relevant to the consulting sector.
  • Monitor and report on employment data and consulting placement statistics.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Academic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are preferred.
  • Languages:
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security departments, preferably in technology companies or consulting firms.
  • Experience in implementing and managing Privacy Information Management Systems (PIMS) based on ISO 27701.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Understanding of network systems, servers, and communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with security management tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its practical application.
  • Understanding of ISO 27701 and its integration with Information Security Management Systems.
  • Ability to conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and manage risks associated with data protection.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Ability to develop and execute security and privacy training programs.
  • Analytical skills to assess and mitigate security and privacy risks.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and promote compliance practices.
