Raw Material Specialist
Raw Material Specialist PURPOSESupporting the global compliance with all applicable legislation relevant for Labelling & Packaging, transportation, storage and supply of “substances” and hazardous chemicals.Ensure high quality and compliance with Raw Material EHS processes and data for Pharma/Consumer Health and/or CropScience divisions in the SAP EHS System.YOUR TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES Execute Substance Classification and Labelling (DG & PS) in compliance with all applicable legislations relevant (transportation and GHS – Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling)Maintain Product Safety and Dangerous Goods data in respective systems (SAP EHS) and take responsibility for the check and upload of Supplier Safety Data SheetsEvaluate changes in Raw Material Safety Data Sheets and their impact on the Substance Classification and Labelling of the Products.Participate in the roll-out of global processes.Key Working Relations: Report to line manager of Chemicals Compliance Operations LeadPrimary contact towards HSE, procurement organisations regarding Raw Materials of Pharma/Consumer Health or CropScience divisionsSupport of Cross functional topicsWHO YOU AREUniversity degree, preferable Chemistry or other natural sciences with prior of at least 2 years relevant professional experience in Product Safety/Safety Data Sheets or related fields.Passionate about collaborating in a team environment as well as exercise independent judgment.High learning agility and flexibility to adapt to different projects based on business demand.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, leveraging those skills across different cultures and functions.Very good analytical skills and the proactive attitude to drive process changes.Customer oriented mind-set, change management capabilities and Team player.SAP experience would be beneficial.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.YOUR APPLICATIONThis is your opportunity to tackle the world’s biggest challenges with us: Maintaining our health, feeding growing populations and slowing the rate of climate change.
