You are responsible for driving the strategy, performance and continuous development of the supply chain organization of Diagnostics Spain. The role oversees the end to end process of demand planning, warehousing, inventory management, sales order, claim management and delivery to end customers/clients, ensuring excellent customer experience and compliance with local and global standards.
You foster collaboration across teams, optimize processes and ensure continuous alignment with overall business objectives and strategy. The role requires strong leadership, business acumen and process management expertise to continuously develop the people and improve supply chain performance.
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Finance & Operations DIA Spain and will be leading a team of leaders and individual contributors.
More specifically, your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Develop mid to long term Supply Chain strategy to address business changes in a complaint and cost effective way
- Review of Supply Chain organizational performance and efficiency (incl. external benchmarking)
- Review of warehousing infrastructure (hardware and software) to ensure continuous delivery and mitigation of operational risks
- Ensure organizational structure, roles and responsibilities are defined to maximize organizational effectiveness
- Define clear yet simple KPIs to foster high quality delivery, continuous improvements, collective ownership and individual accountability
- Drive close communication and collaboration with other functions and commercial teams, follow the customer first principle to ensure high quality experience
- Be responsible for Supply Chain budget to maximize outcomes and high quality delivery experience
- Continuously improve supplier management practices to maintain highest standard and achieve excellent collaboration
- Represent and actively contribute in Global and Regional Supply Chain forums to support/drive/implement key initiatives while ensuring local needs are well represented
- Drive and timely implement local and global projects in the area of Supply Chain (ie: SAP, EWM etc.)
- Establish goal oriented culture and review mechanisms, define individual goals, stimulate employee’s full potential and contribution to the organization
- Build a robust performance management system, make regular evaluation and provide timely feedback and coaching for the employees
- Promote accountability and facilitate efficient communication & collaboration within the team and across functions
- Develop a comprehensive talent management strategy, and build a high-performing warehouse organization

Qualifications and experience:
- Higher Education Degree (MA, MS, MBA, PHD)
- Minimum 7 years of previous experience in leadership positions and people management
- Experience in Supply Chain function including demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics, distribution and customer satisfaction management
- Business acumen and knowledge of complex logistics set-up (ie: cold-chain)
- Solid experience in project management, leading changes and managing conflicts
- Supply Chain management softwares (SAP, WMS, TMS) and data analytics tools
- Fluent level of Spanish and high level of English
